Hi, I’m Valerie Armstrong, founder of Lazuli. Whether we’ve crossed paths at a psychedelic conference, during a microdosing consultation, or you just Googled “intentional psychedelics,” I’m glad you’re here.

I started Lazuli in 2024, 14 years after my first mushroom journey on the dunes of Lake Michigan. With a background in design and social impact, I’ve always been passionate about improving lives — and that’s what I love about psychedelics: they help us reconnect with ourselves and the world around us. Since my first journey, I’ve taken a deep dive into learning everything I can about psychedelics, becoming a certified Integrated Psilocybin Mushroom Specialist, and honing my ability to talk with people about them.

At Lazuli, my goal is to blend my love for design with my experience in psychedelics to help destigmatize mushrooms and empower people to develop a relationship with them to help solve their own problems. I create tools and coach people who seek guidance along the psychedelic path. My favorite part of this work is hearing how psychedelics help my clients unlock parts of themselves they’ve forgotten, finding clarity in a chaotic world.
